High Arctic Tundra tours, Birding the Varanger Peninsula

In the period 1-15 July 2013, Arntzen Arctic Adventures offers high arctic tundra tours. More info you can find in the youtube video below. It is normally a lot of birds to see along the track, and we will do stops along the road. You will come close up to many species, and especially the arctic skua will most likely come really close.When we reach main stop point, you can stay in this area, or walk further up to the national park, to look for several interesting species that is situated up there. The tour by foot takes about 3,5 hour in all. It is possible to book thees tundra tours later in the season on request, but the most interesting and possible period is the two first weeks in July. The track we use opens 1. July.

To do this tours, we need minimum 4 paying customers pr. car.
